Lorraine Michael is the result of a long time dream of being able to work with antiques and decorative items full time as my business.

I’m Susan Noonan, the owner and manager of Lorraine Michael.

My home and workshop are in Jacksonville, Florida. I am a graduate of nearby University of Florida in Gainesville with a BSBA degree in Business Management. I’m proud to live in the Springfield Historic District of Jacksonville, which is undergoing revitalization thanks to all of its hard working volunteers/residents. I live in a beautifully renovated Victorian, built circa 1896, with my husband and business partner, Frank, two Boston Terriers, and two rescued cats who think they own the place. Our three children are grown and live in and near Gainesville, about two hours away.

I have always enjoyed interior design, decorative painting, antiques, and sewing, so Lorraine Michael is an outlet for me to do the things I love. To hear that something I’ve created or enhanced is special to someone else is especially heartwarming for me.

I’m a member of the Citizens Planning and Advisory Council of Jacksonville, the Sheriff’s Advisory Council, The Springfield Garden Club, and the Springfield Woman’s Club. I’m regularly involved in projects in our historic neighborhood, working to make Springfield the charming, picturesque neighborhood it was in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s.
